nbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspKerrville Wyma Burnam Hunnicutt, 94, of Kerrville, died December 18, 2006 at a local care center.Wyma was born to Joseph Elijah and Annie Mae Burnam May 2, 1912 in Putnam, Texas. She was raised and attended school in Cisco, Texas. She was a very strong Christian, very out going and loved giving hugs and receiving them. Wyma was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Kerrville since its very beginning. Wyma loved to travel in the United States and abroad. She worked several summers in two national parks, Shenandoah Valley in Luray, Virginia and Mesa Verde in Colorado. But the job she treasured was working for R.G. and Mike Cook at Kerrville Drug where she was employed for many years. Wyma was very supportive of the Relay for Life and was possibly the oldest living breast cancer survivor in the state and maybe the nation having survived 69 years.She adored her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grandson always making their birthday cakes to their special specifications. Mrs. Hunnicutt is survived by two daughters, Cheri Brinkman and her husband Bart of Kerrville and Mona Carol and Bubba Lawrence Workman of Boerne, grandchildren, Karen Bonham, Abilene, Texas, Kim Bell, Indianapolis, Indiana, Kip Workman, LaVernia, Kody, Kevin and Kelly Workman of Boerne and Brandon Brinkman of Ft Worth, 11 great grandchildren and one great great grandson and one sister, Jeanette Berry of California. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John, her parents, two brothers and a sister.Funeral services will be held Friday, December 22, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at Kerrville Funeral Home with Dr. John Petty and Dr. Bill Blackburn officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, San Antonio. ation will be Thursday, December 21, 2006, 5 to 7 p.m. at Kerrville Funeral Home.
