Winnie Scott

Kerrville Winnie A. Scott, 92, of Kerrville, Texas passed from this life at a local care facility on Sunday, March 23, 2014, in Kerrville Texas. Winnie was born on March 3, 1922, to Wilbur Y. Young and Mayme A. Turner Young, in Bee County, Texas.

Winnie was a home maker. She was also a Dietitian for 25 years at the V.A. Hospital. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kerrville and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Winnie was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Dale Scott Sr. daughter, Claudette Mitchell son, Terry L. Scott and daughter, Carol Ann Scott.
Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her son, Leslie Dale Scott Jr. daughter, Regina Scott Caulk, and is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, along with a host of many loving friends and neighbors.

Funeral Services will be at 10 AM Thursday, April 3, 2014 in the Main Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Highway, Kerrville, Texas 78028.
ation will be Wednesday, April 2, 2014 from 57 PM, also at Kerrville Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 3250 Fredericksburg Road, Kerrville, Texas 78028.

In lieu of floral tributes, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Kerrville, Texas or to the Hill Country Youth Ranch, Ingram, Texas.
