Winnie Pelton

Winnie A. Pelton, 89, of Ingram, Texas passed from this life on August 25, 2013 at a care facility in Kerrville, Texas.

Winnie was born October 9, 1923 in Paris, Texas to Thomas T. and Myrtle A. Brooks in Aransas Pass, Texas. She met and married the love of her life Jack Pelton on August 17, 1940 in Aransas Pass. They moved to the Hill Country in 1941 where they raised 4 children. Winnie was a full time mother and homemaker. She loved raising flowers, being a Cub Scout mom, and a FFA and FHA supporter.

Winnie is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Pelton sons, Elvie Rilley Pelton, Glenn Eugene Pelton soninlaw, Ervin E. Wahrmund her parents and brothers, Joe Bob and Thomas J.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory include her daughter, Bonnie Wahrmund son, J.L. Pelton and wife Linda grandchildren, Jackie Tony Wahrmund Krueger, Glenn, Gary, Sara, Michelle Brian Dooley, Jennifer Ryan Counts greatgrandchildren, Amanda Virginia, Lisa, Lloyd, Letha, Lakota, Alyssia, Matthew, Alexis, Kevin, Ashlyn, and Alexander greatgreatgrandchildren, Mason Engel, Kadence Abel, Lauren Engel, Hana Engel, and Kassidy Abel along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 29, 2013 at the Kerrville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Friedrich officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 PM at the Junction City Cemetery in Junction, Texas. No visitation is scheduled.
