William Alexander "Al" Plummer Jr., 87, of Bandera, Texas passed from this life on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at a local care facility with his two daughters by his side.
William was born November 23, 1931 in Uvalde, Texas to parents, William Alexander Plummer, Sr. and Charlotte Marie Heinen.
Al lived a life that was undeniably unique. Bandera was home, he was a graduate of University of Texas at Austin and was a committed Longhorn for life. His many endeavors included the Plummer Funeral Chapels, ranching, motel, nursing home, car sales and a car wash business. Al loved a good joke, hunting, fishing , Longhorn football, Medina lake, friends and family.
Al is preceded in death by his parents, William Alexander Sr. and Charlotte Heinen Plummer; beloved wife, Olivia June; son, William Alexander "Bill" Plummer III; and daughter, Anna Laurie Plummer Rambeau.
Those left to cherish his memory include sister, Tina Muse; daughters, Junie Marie and Olivia Christine; Pastor John Rambeau and wife Sherri; grandchildren, Claire, Ryan, Luke, Tia, Tyler, Hilary, Christian, Rachel and 4 great grandchildren.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Alamo Hospice and Cedar Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their thoughtful and compassionate care, and a very special thank you to Alice Ragen.

A graveside service will take place Friday, March 15, 2019 at 2 PM at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Kerrville, TX.
