FREDERICKSBURG William better known as Bill Pearson passed away December 4, 2012. Born in Houston, TX, on March 12, 1925, he was placed with the Kincaid Adoption agency by his birth mother. He was adopted by Richard Samuel and Helen Harrison Pearson.
Bill Enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corps on December 10, 1942 at Brooks Field, TX. He served in the South Pacific during World
War II.
Bill had a varied business career which included banking, commercial finance, and the Recreational Vehicle industry he served as the president of the Recreational Vehicle Association, a Nationally Recognized RV Industry Association. At one time, he created and owned All State Acceptance Corporation. His last twenty six years he was a factory representative for some of the largest RV manufacturers. He really loved this period because he was selling fun.
Bill was taught by his father to put something back into every community that he lived in. He was active in local community associations, starting in 1954 in San Antonio, by being elected to serve as Treasurer of Highland Hills Civic Association. He also served as Chairman of the local Community Action Group, Inc., of Kerrville, TX for five years.
Those left to honor and cherish Bills memory are his lovely wife, Mary Basham Pearson of 67 years 5 children, Ronald Steven Pearson of Virginia Beach, VA, Linda Pearson Sparks of Houston, TX, David Neal Pearson of Mason, OH, Robert Allen Pearson of Mason, OH, and Steven Jeffery Pearson of Amarillo, TX 15 grandchildren and 6 greatgrand children and a host of many loving friends and neighbors.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Main Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home at 2 PM, Saturday, December 8, 2012 with Rev. Sam Ligon officiating. Interment will be at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on Monday, December 10, 2012 at 10:45 AM.
