William Masom

Kerrville William quotBillquot Masom, 70, of Kerrville, passed from this life at a local hospital on Friday afternoon, May 29, 2009.

Born in Helena, MT on February 8, 19, he had been a resident of Kerrville since 2001. He lived in River Hills Health and Rehab for the past 2 years due to complications of his Parkinsons disease.

He was a member of the hip Bible Church and also attended Faith Christian.

Bill was a lugger truck driver for SmurffitStone, retiring after 32 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Ed and Isabel Dean Mason, and his good buddy, Ralph Chaney.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his wife, Linda A. Pickens Masom of Kerrville his children, 3 sons, Danny Mason of Williamsburg, VA, William Dean Masom of Killeen, TX and Jeremiah Masom of San Antonio, TX a daughter, Kathy Bruch of Missoula, MT 8 grandchildren a son and w daughters from a previous marriage 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren from those children.

He will be missed by his friends and loved ones who take comfort knowing he is out of pain and enjoying eternity with his wonderful Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

There is no visitation.

A Memorial Celebration of his life will be held at Kerrville Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at 1:00PM. Inurnment will take place in Missoula, MT.

In lieu of floral arrangements, the family asks that monetary donations be made to Kerrville VA Hospice.
