William F. Betzner Jr.

William (Will) Betzner Jr., age 90, of Kerrville, TX passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, February 8, 2025, surrounded by family. 

Will was born October 14, 1934, in New Haven, CT to William Betzner Sr. and Helen Flynn. He grew up in New Haven, CT and joined the Navy in 1951 where he served for 4 years aboard an aircraft carrier as an Ordinance Man. After the Navy, he spent many years in North Haven, CT raising a family. He retired in 1997 where he enjoyed dancing and traveling with Mitzi Hurder Betzner. 

Will spent his final years living in Kerrville, TX with wife and dance partner Maureen. 

Will is preceded in death by his parents, William Betzner Sr. and Helen Flynn Betzner; wife, Mitzi Hurder Betzner; and grandson, Jordan Boyer. 

He is survived by his children, Rabbitt Betzner of WA, Bill (Edna) Betzner of CT, Don (Laurie) Betzner of CT; wife, Maureen Granflaten of TX; grandchildren, Shannon Boyer of WA, Rebecca Betzner of CT, Alexis Betzner of CT, Bridget Betzner of CT. 

Funeral Services will be held privately by family at a later date.
