KERRVILLE William Chigger Berry, 92, of Kerrville, Texas passed from this life at River Point Care Center in Kerrville, Texas Monday, April 28, 2014. Born in Lufkin, Texas, he was the son of Andrew and Lottie Wilkerson Berry.

Mr. Berry married the love of his life, Anna Ruth Huffman Berry in July 1949 in which they enjoyed 54 years together. He was a 1st Lt. in the United States Marines, serving his country proudly during the Pacific Theater. He spent 32 years working for Dow Chemical, retiring as a Foreman of the machine shop. He was a member of the St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Phillipsburg, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents his wife eight brothers and a son, Robert Bobby Berry.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his son, Raymond Roddy Berry and wife Darlyn of Hunt, Texas grandchildren, Monica and Mark Kiefer of South Padre Island, Texas, Brent and Missy Berry of Round Rock, Texas, Joey and Karmen Berry of Bellville, Texas, Jeff and Jamie Berry of Cat Springs, Texas eight grandchildren, Kolbie, Karsen, Bailee, Makenna, Brooks, Alivia, Hunter, and Karrigan, along with many friends and neighbors who will miss him dearly.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM, Monday, May 5, 2014 at the Pavilion of St. Pauls Lutheran Church Cemetery, Phillipsburg, Texas. A reception will follow at the church.

In lieu of floral arrangements, the family has requested memorials to be forwarded to Peterson Hospice, 1121 Broadway, Kerrville, Texas 78028 or to St. Pauls Lutheran Church, 27 Phillipsburg Church Road, Brenham, Texas 77833.
