Will Laster

Kerrville Will Robert Laster, 86, of Kerrville passed from this life on November 10, 2002 in Kerrville, Texas after a sudden illness. Mr. Laster was born in Westoff, Texas to the late Robert Leonard and Alta Mae Laster on August 28, 1916.After growing up in Westoff, he served in the U.S. Army as an Infantry Rifleman in Germany during WWII. In 1938, he married the late Georgia Mae Jansky in Yorktown, Texas. She preceded him in death on April 1, 1948.Mr. Laster was employed for a number of years as a Toll Pusher for Phillips Petroleum, retiring in 1978 at his last assignment in Spearman, Texas. After retirement, he moved to Kerrville where he spent the last 24 years.He is survived by his daughter, Judy Mullen of Liberty Hill, Texas granddaughter, Melissa Holt, also of Liberty Hill, Texas 3 great grandchildren, and host of loving friends and neighbors.Arrangements are under the direction of Kerrville Funeral Home.
