Weldon Foreman

Weldon Levaughn Foreman, 73, of Kerrville, Texas passed away June 3, 2004 at his residence.Mr. Foreman was born May 2, 1931 in Gustine, TX to Ottie and Georgia Foreman. He married LaVonda Jenkins on September 15, 1950 in Crews, TX. He served in the US Army from 19521954 in Germany during the Korean War. He worked for Chevron for 36 years and from 19891992 he was plant manager. In 1992, he retired and he and his wife moved to Kerrville. He loved to travel, and was a member of the Airstreamers RV club. He did volunteer work for Church Builders, and enjoyed building new churches. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Mr. Foreman is preceded in death by a daughter, Tonya Benson brother, Leslie Foreman, sister, Imogene Rutland brother, Lonnie Foreman and brother, Coleman Foreman.He is survived by his wife of 53 years LaVonda Foreman, son, Kenny Foreman and wife Dian of Elk City, Oklahoma Grandchildren, Jace Foreman, Kelsey Foreman, Elise Dean and husband Adam of Nevada, MO, and Ty Foreman of Kerrville brother, Bobby Wayne Foreman of Arlington, TX sisters, Dean Tate of San Angelo, Ilene Canion of Haltom City, Joyce Yoes of Shelbyville, TN, and Twila Nowell of Abilene, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be 3:00PM Saturday, June 5, 2004 at the Trinity Baptist Church with Dr. John Petty officiating. Interment will be 2:00PM Sunday, June 6, 2004 at Crews Cemetery in Crews, Texas with Reverend Ferris Aking officiating. ation will be 68:00PM, Friday, at the Kerrville Funeral Home.Memorials may be made to the Star Ranch, 149 Camp Scenic Loop, Ingram, TX 78025, or to the donors favorite charity.
