Warren Beaver, 75, of Ingram, Texas went to be with the Lord on January 4, 2005 at a hospital in San Antonio.Mr. Beaver was born October 4, 1929 to Pat and Opal Beaver in Bronte, Texas, where he also spent his childhood. He married Betty Burson in 1957 in San Angelo, TX. He joined the U.S Army and served in Korea, but was not formally discharged from the military until after Desert Storm, and served all branches of service. He has been an ordained deacon since 1958, and an ordained minister since 1965. He pastored churches in the valley for over 20 years. Ten years ago he and his wife moved to Ingram where they have stayed active in the First Baptist Church in Ingram where Warren served as a deacon. He also worked security at Norwest Wells Fargo Bank for six years. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed raising livestock. He will be missed by his family and many friends.He is survived by his wife, Betty Beaver daughter, Theresa Laughlin and husband Dennis of Ingram three sons, Tim Beaver of Houston, TX Marty Brown of Ft. Worth, and Greg Beaver and wife Cindy of Dallas, seven grandchildren, one great grandchild, and sister, Dean Pope of Bronte, TX.Funeral services will be 2:00PM, Friday at the First Baptist Church in Ingram with Pastor Jimmy Allen officiating. Additional services will be 10:00AM, Saturday, at the Central Baptist Church in Bronte, Texas. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Bronte, TX. ation will be 57:00PM, Thursday at Kerrville Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
