KerrvilleWanda Leibee 77, of Kerrville passed away at her home on Saturday morning June 18, 2011 after losing a battle against Cancer, with her family at her bedside.

She was born in Wann Oklahoma to William H. Thornbrugh and Inez Conn. In 1952 she and Allen Leibee were married in Tulsa and lived the majority of her years in Odessa, Houston and Kerrville TX with brief living experiences in New Jersey and London, England.

She is survived by her husband Allen Leibee of Kerrville, her two children Beverly Leibee of Kerrville, and Bruce Leibee of Round Rock, TX, also her grandchildren Aislynn Leibee, Davis K. Leibee and Caleb Leibee all of Round Rock, TX. She is also survived by three sisters, Frances Grounds, of Dallas, Rita Wright of Owasso, OK and Billie Foreman of Pryor, OK, also many nieces and nephews.

With a close friend, Mary Dingman, she opened RAGS, etc., a Ladies Fashion Boutique in Houston. Wanda was more than a businesswoman. The shop was headquarters for countless ladies who remained close friends long after RAGS closed. She served as a volunteer at the Memorial Drive Methodist Church Church Alzheimers Therapy group. In Kerrville, she belonged to the Summit Marathon Bridge Club, the Republican Women of Kerr County and supported the Texas Hill Country Youth Ranch.

Memorial Services for Wanda will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at the Kerrville Funeral Home 1221 Junction Hwy, in Kerrville, TX.
