W.D. Wimpy Small, 90, of Ingram, Texas passed away on March 6, 2006 at his residence. Mr. Small was born January 11, 1916 in Grandfield, Oklahoma to Andrew and Frances Small. He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II from June 3, 1942 to October 20, 1945. He was a foreman and a pipeliner for 52 years with H.C. Price, and traveled all over the U.S. and the world laying pipe for them. He married Dorothy on February 20, 1982 at their home in Ingram. They opened, owned, and operated Smalls Moblie Home Park in Ingram for many years. He attended First Baptist Church in Ingram, and was a lifetime member of the VFW and a member of the American Legion . He loved to travel, and tell stories of his life and work. He was friendly to all and very helpful and giving. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.He is survived by his wife, Dorothy May Small of Ingram daughter, Rebecca Nodal and husband Jim of Richland Hills, TX stepsons, Melvin C. Ramsey and Johnny T. Ramsey sisters, Mayda Key, Julia Londigan, JoAnn Peters and husband John brother, Walter Small grandchildren, Richard Kittrell and Tommy Kittrell and greatgrandchildren, Kody, Hunter, Katy, Logan, and Wyatt Kittrell.Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2006 at the Kerrville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Allen and Rev. Paul McClung officiating. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. ation will be 68:00 p.m. at Kerrville Funeral Home.
