Kerrville Vivian M. Feldman was born into eternal life on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at Plaza on the River Nursing Home, Kerrville. She lived 93 years on earth as Gods faithful servant.
Vivian was welcomed into life by James Lee and Dannie Lee Vandervoort Robinson on October 30, 1915 in San Antonio, TX.
After completing her nursing degree at Scott White Hospital in Temple, she joined the US Army and served as a field nurse in Europe during WW II. She was married to Warren D. Feldman on June 25, 1946. Both spent many more years of service to their country at Ft. Lyon, VA Hospital in Colorado.
After retirement, they returned to her roots in Texas and became long time residents of Kerrville.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Kerrville.
Mrs. Feldman was predeceased by her parents, her beloved husband, a brother, James Lee Robinson, Jr. and a sister, Sara Lucretia Irwin.
Those left to cherish and honor her memory are her sons, Kent Feldman of Kerrville and Robert Feldman and his wife, Linda, of Mayville, WI her sister, Elaine Clark of Fredericksburg her brother, William Robinson and his wife, Ima Jean, of Wimberly, TX a brotherinlaw, Gene Feldman of Chambersburg, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial celebration of her life will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Kerrville, 800 Jefferson St, on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at 10:30AM. Inurnment will be held at Ft Sam Houston National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of floral arrangements, the family asks that monetary donations be made to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation or the hospice on your choice.
