Kerrville Virginia Horton King was born in Wichita, Kansas to Leroy Scott and Margaret May Horton on January 8, 19 and passed from this life at her home on Thursday morning, October 4, 2007nbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbsp She finished school in Wichita and then attended the University of Kansas where she met her husband to be, Tom M. King. Together they lived in eight states, one foreign country and raised a family of two sons and one daughter.nbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbsp With her husband and family she traveled widely visiting at least 25 foreign countries, sailed upon four oceans and travelled perhaps 40 of the 50 states. nbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbsp She loved playing tennis, golf, the beach, playing bridge with friends and most of all, her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband sons, Tom Jr. of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Kenneth of Castro Valley, California daughter, Karin Buchanan of Wray, Colorado, and five wonderful grandchildren.nbspnbspnbspnbspnbsp Funeral Services will be held in the chapel of the Kerrville Funeral Home, Saturday, October 6, 2007 at 2:00PM with Dr Warren Hornung, Pastor of the First United Methodist Church, Kerrville, officiating. There will be no visitation.nbspnbspnbspnbspnbsp
