Kerrville Virginia Ineeda Bach passed away in Kerrville, Texas on October 30, 2010 at the age of 67 after a long battle with cancer. She was blessed with the support and love of friends and family.
Ineeda was born in Dermott, Arkansas on June 25, 1943 and went to high school in Warren, Arkansas followed by a year of college at what was then called Arkansas AM. After college, she moved to Dallas where she met her one true love Bob
They were married on September 4, 1965 and they recently celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary. In 1969, Bob and Ineeda moved to Houston, TX where they lived until October of 2006. She loved camping, crafts, planning fun and crazy parties with her neighborhood friends, decorating, sewing and being around people with a sense of humor.
She worked as a secretary for various companies, but most of all she loved being a wife and mother. She was very active as a volunteer leader in the Girl Scouts with her daughter Becky. Her son, Rick became an Eagle Scout. She was very proud of her children as they grew and as each graduated from college.
Throughout the time her kids were growing up, family vacations were always spent camping in the Texas Hill Country which Ineeda thought was beautiful. She had many fond memories of summer camping trips at Garner State Park and tubing in the Frio River with friends and family. It was so beautiful, she dreamed of moving to the Texas Hill Country when she and Bob were ready to retire. Finally, in October 2006 that dream became a reality when they moved to Kerrville, TX.
While her time with us has been cut short, she is at peace now and through Gods grace her suffering has ended. God has called her to a very special place and she is certain to be found whistling her favorite tunes and telling jokes amongst the angels.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bruce and Dorothy Sawyer.
Survivors include her husband Robert Bob Bach of Kerrville. A son Richard Rick Bach and wife Tammy and their children Natalie and Melanie of Wichita, KS. A daughter Rebecca Becky Bach Otto and husband Scott and their children Liam and Whitney of Corsicana, TX. One brother Howard Sawyer and his wife Phyllis of Bryant, AR.
Ineeda will be cremated with a memorial service and celebration of her life to follow. Services will be held at St. Pauls United Methodist Church at 135 Methodist Encampment Rd in Kerrville, TX on November 4th at 10:00 am with Pastor Bill Johnson officiating.
