Virgil Stacy

Virgil E. Tug Stacy, 85, of Kerrville, Texas entered into rest October 20, 2003 at a local hospital. Mr. Stacy was born June 1, 1918 in Poteet, Texas to Roy and Anis Stacy. He was active in the Army in WWII from 19451947. He worked as a Machinist Foreman at Kelly Air Force Base, and retired there. He moved to Kerrville in 1973. He married Marjorie Stacy on October 26, 1995 in Kerrville, Texas. He attended St. Pauls United Methodist Church. His hobbies included fishing, bowling, bingo, and dominos. In retirement years he enjoyed playing pool, doing hand craft projects, and keeping a sculptured lawn. He loved traveling and spending many happy hours with his wife Marjorie. He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers Vernon and Dan Stacy, and his wife of 50 years Tressie O. Stacy.He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Cauley Stacy of Kerrville Son, Terry L. Stacy and wife Kay of Corpus Christi, TX Daughter, Peggy Whipple and husband Felix of San Antonio, TX StepSons, Edwin P. Cauley and wife Mary Kaye of Coppell, TX and Keith A. Cauley and wife Dee of Parker, CO Brother, Lowell Stacy and wife Ava Lee of Kerrville, Sister, Rubelle Fischer of Lockhart, TX Grandchildren, Cheryl Brown of Schertz, TX, Scott Stacy and wife Julie of Everette, WA., Dawn Kanady and husband Jeff of Kerrville GreatGrandchildren, Christopher Estes, Stacy Estes, Chelsea Brown all of Schertz, TX, and Josh Stacy and Ty Stacy both of Everett, WA Hunter Kanady and Kaycee Kanady both of Kerrville and GreatGreatGrandson, Ethan Estes of Schertz, TX.
