MARBLE FALLS Virgie Irene Davis Thompson peacefully went to heaven on July 18, 2012. She was born to Roland and Annie Davis on May 9, 1919, the youngest of ten Children.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, the Rev. Worth Thompson her parents seven brothers, and two sisters.

She is survived by her twin daughters Pat Thompson of Marble Falls, TX, and Michaelyn Atkinson, and her husband Mike Atkinson also of Marble Falls three grandchildren, Jennifer Wyble and her husband Dale of Woodway, TX, Ryan Atkinson, and Kari Atkinson of Marble Falls, TX three greatgrandsons, Jayson, Will, and Colin Wyble of Woodway, TX, along with numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of many loving friends and neighbors.

Virgie was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and greatgrandmother. She was also a wonderful friend.
She will be remembered and greatly missed by all who know her.

In lieu of floral tributes, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, the Boys and Girls Club of Marble Falls or the charity of ones choice.

Virgie will be available for friends at the funeral home from 9 AM until service time on Saturday, July 21, 2012. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2012, at 5 PM in the Main Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Highway, Kerrville, TX 78028 with Rev. Ross Chandler, of First Baptist Church, Marble Falls, TX, officiating. Interment will follow at Hunt Japonica Cemetery, Hunt, TX.
