Vincent Lamm

Kerrville Vincent E. Lamm, 91, of Kerrville, passed from this life on January 11, 2011 at a local health care facility.

Born in Milbank, SD on December 29, 1919, he was the son of Frederick and Maude Sands Lamm. He had lived in Kerrville for the past 13 years, and had previously lived in Hawaii for many years.

Mr. Lamm served in the US Army for 25 years, retiring in 1962. He was a member of the VFW.

After his military career, he went back to school and received his Masters degree from the University of Hawaii.

He taught at Leeward Community College and West Oahu College in Hawaii.
On June 29, 1963, he married Magda Reyes, a union that would last 47 years.

He was a communicant of Notre Dame Catholic Church.

Mr. Lamm is predeceased by his parents and his 6 brothers and sisters.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Magda Reyes Lamm of Kerrville his children, Edward Lamm of Oahu, HI, Tony Lamm of Long Beach, CA, David Lamm of Salinas, CA, James Lamm of Enumclaw, WA and Marybeth Lamm Cable of Webster, WI 8 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

There will be a Recitation of the Holy Rosary on Monday, January 17, 2011 at 6:00 PM at Kerrville Funeral Home.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Notre Dame Catholic Church, Kerrville on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 9:30 AM. A committal service will be held at the Punchbowl National Cemetery in Honolulu, HI at a later date.

The family suggests that donations in his name be made to Notre Dame Catholic Church, 909 Main St, Kerrville, TX 78028 or the charity of ones choice.
