Victoria Sanchez

KERRVILLE Victoria Sanchez, of Kerrville, TX passed from this life on Friday, August 30, 2013 at a local hospital. She was born in Brady, TX on March 23, 1923 to Antonio Cervantes and Maria Charles Cervantes.

Growing up in the Brady, TX area, she married the love of her life, Joe Sanchez on March 9, 1952 in Cuero, TX. Victoria loved dancing, music, playing BINGO and sewing quilts. Most of all, she loved her family gatherings. Victoria was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to many, who will all miss her dearly.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Antonio Cervantes and Maria Charles Cervantes husband, Joe Sanchez nephew, Jose Sanchez soninlaws, William Dempesy Leonard and Jouita Trevino.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are Jo Ann Leonard, Lucy and Paco Garibay, Mary Villaobos, Frances Sanchez, Johnny Sanchez, Alex and Velma Sanchez, along with 36 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.

A ation will be held at Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Hwy Kerrville, TX on Thursday, September 5, 2013 from 6 8 PM.

Funeral Services will be held in the Main Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home on Friday, September 6, 2013 at 2 PM with interment following at Mountain View Cemetery, Kerrville, TX.

The family requests all memorial donations be made to Kerrville Funeral Home to help defray the costs of services.
