Kerrvillenbsp Vada Mae McMahon, 101, of Ingram, Texas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 28, 2009.nbspnbspnbspMrs. McMahon was born January 30, 1907 in Medina, TX to Marion and Erma Davis Moffett.nbsp After graduating High School, she became a home maker and wife to William D. McMahon on May 23, 1924 in Bandera, TX.nbspnbsp She was not only a great mother to her children, but she also was mother to many people in the community where she was well known, loved and cherished.nbspShe was an active member of the Living Tree Baptist Church, a church that she loved dearly.nbsp She was known for having church groups of a dozen or more at her home, even just a few months ago, cooking them meals that will be remembered for many years.nbspShe is survived by her sons, Joe Lee McMahon and wife Von of Stephenville, TX, William D. McMahon, Jr. and wife Myrna of Itasca, TX daughters, Zella Mae Holms of Sheffield, TX, Bernice Marie Dean of Siloam Springs, AR, Patty Birkes and husband Bill of Ingram, TX daughterinlaw, Jerry Willman of Kerrville, TX sisters, Bernice Light of Bandera, TX, Lola Barton of Bandera, TX, Janice Sells of Bandera, TX, and Ida Beathold of Kerrville, TX 15 grandchildren, 28 greatgrandchildren, and 8 greatgreatgrandchildren numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of many loving friends and neighbors and her beloved church family.nbspA visitation will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2009 from 68 PM in the Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home.nbsp Funeral Services are to be held at 1 PM, Sunday, February 1, 2009 in the Sanctuary of Living Tree Baptist Church, 3120 Junction Highway, Ingram, TX 78025, officiated by the Rev. Thomas Jeffers and Rev. Jimmy Allen.nbsp Interment will follow atnbspOak RestnbspCemetery, Medina, TX.nbspArrangements are under the direction and personal care of Kerrville Funeral Home. 830 8955111nbsp
