Troy Wright

Kerrville Troy Allen Wright, 62, passed from this life with his family around him on Monday, February 4, 2013. Troy was born on November 14, 1950 to Troy Byrd and Viola Bernhard in Kerrville TX.
Later in life Troy met Linda Shuler and they were married on August 31, 1991 in San Antonio, TX. Troy became a Proprietor of a tree trimming service, and then was employed as a manager for a Valero Store. He became a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, where he worked with young adults and collegiates until he became disabled. His enjoyments were watching TV and taking care of his 2 beloved dogs, Lady and Jasmine. He also cherished being a part of his GodDaughters life, Mary Cox.
Troy was preceded in death, by his parents, Troy and Viola Byrd a granddaughter twin nieces his fatherinlaw and his beloved dog, Junior.
Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his wife, Linda Shuler sister, Sandra Julian and husband Lyn of San Antonio, TX daughters, Dianna Wright and Candy Moore several grandchildren and great grandchildren motherinlaw, Mary Shuler sisterinlaw, Marian Ingram and husband Randy niece, Emily of Lewisville, TX adopted daughter, Katherine Caulder and GodDaughter, Mary Cox, along with numerous other relatives and friends in the area.
Troy will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 PM in the Main Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Hwy, Kerrville, TX on Saturday, February 9, 2013, with the Rev. Thomas Jeffers Oficiating.
