San Antonio Tomilene Tomie Klipstine, 88, of San Antonio, and formerly of Kerrville, passed from this life at a San Antonio hospital on Friday afternoon, December 12, 2008. Born in Gatesville, TX on September 5, 1920, she was the daughter of W. Tom and Viola Lewis Young. Tomie, as she was known, lived in Kerrville for many years and just 3 weeks ago moved to San Antonio to be near her family. She was a charter member of Sunrise Baptist Church in Kerrville and was very active in the church. She and her husband Jack were very active in the Gideons. As avid RVers, Tomie and Jack were members of the Good Sam Club, and traveled throughout the United States and helped build many churches on these adventureshellip Tomie is predeceased by her husband Jack, her parents, a son, Sammy Lillibridge, and a brother. She is survived by her son and daughterinlaw, Daniel and Liz Klipstine of San Antonio 2 granddaughters, Kim Shenk and her husband, Alvin, of San Antonio and Carrie Klipstine of San Antonio 3 great grandchildren, Kayla Klipstine, Brenden Shenk and Katelyn Shenk, all of San Antonio and many friends. ation will be Sunday, December 14, 2008 at Kerrville Funeral Home from 35PM. Funeral Services will be on Monday, December 15, 2008 at 2PM at Kerrville Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories, Kerrville. Floral arrangements are acceptable or monetary donations in her name may be made to Sunrise Baptist Church.
