Tomi Hodge

Kerrville Tomi Francine Hodge, longtime resident of New Braunfels, TX entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 25, 2007 at Edgewater Nursing Center in Kerrville, TX at the age of 93.Fran was born in Beargrass, TX on August 1, 1914, to Pastor Robert F. and Luddie A. Bryan. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband , U.S. Army Pilot John E. Hodge, and her sons, Robert Chambers of Alamo, NV, Samuel Chambers of Kerrville, TX, and Basil Venus of Junction, TX.After living in various parts of the United States, because of her love of the Hill Country and its people, she made New Braunfels her home. She spent her life loving her children and grandchildren.She is survived by her twelve grandchildren, twentytwo greatgrandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.Memorial Services celebrating her life will be conducted at 4 PM, Saturday, December 15, 2007 in the Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home with Chaplain Sam Ligon officiating.In lieu of flowers, the family is asking memorial donations be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or Utopia Animal Rescue Ranch, 966 Echo Hill Road Medina, TX 78055.Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Kerrville Funeral Home.
