Timothy Weber

Kerrville Timothy Joseph Weber, 69, of Kerrville, TX passed away Friday, April 23, 2010, surrounded by family at the Kerrville VA Hospital.

He was born January 11, 1941, in River Rouge, a suburb of Detroit, Michigan. He was a passionate, transplanted Texan, never leaving after moving here in 1980. Tim served proudly in the Criminal Investigation Division of the United States Army beginning in 1962. As a Chief Warrant Officer, he graduated from the FBI Academy and trained at Scotland Yard in England. Upon retirement from the army in 1983, he was a Fraudulent Claims Investigator with USAA Insurance Company in San Antonio, quotstill going after the bad guys.quot

Tim lived an active life. He loved long distance running, bowling, and a day on the golf course. He also coached Comfort Youth Sports and volunteered with the Hill Country Chapter of Special Olympics.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Klaerner Weber, of Kerrville, TX daughters, Diana McComish and husband, Greg, of San Antonio, TX, Kristen Fain and husband, Kevin, of New Braunfels, TX, and Shannon Weber and partner, Guy Bowen of New Braunfels, TX stepdaughter, Tammy Crenwelge of Houston, TX stepson, Keith Crenwelge and wife, Lisa, of Fredericksburg, TX five grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, and one stepgreat grandchild. He is further survived by a sister, Pamela Russell and husband, Dale, of Woodhaven, Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert J. and Genevieve Weber, and his brother, Herbert J. Weber, Jr.

ation will be held from 6 8 PM, Monday, April 26, 2010 at Kerrville Funeral Home. Services will be at St. Peters Episcopal Church, Kerrville, TX at 10 AM, Tuesday, April 27, 2010 with Rev. Stockton Williams officiating. Interment will follow at 2 PM in Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, TX with Military Honors.
