Timothy McLaughlin

Timothy Thomas McLaughlin, 61, born December 17, 1948, passed away on Tuesday morning, January 26, 2010.

Born in Florida to Robert William McLaughlin and Georgianne Clemons McLaughlin, he was raised in Houston with two siblings. He proudly served in the US Air Force during Vietnam and later earned a degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Houston.

Tim had two children whom he loved dearly and was very proud of. He married Carolyn Ann Kyle in Magnolia, TX on April 20, 2000 and ly became the father of one more daughter. With Carolyns persistence, they moved to the Hill Country in 2002 and Tim went to work for Lowes. It did not take him long to fall in love with the area and the people and he never once looked back.

Tim was a very hard working man with a great big heart. All who knew him loved him. He had a sense of humor, yet could be serious. He was extremely intelligent, loved anything to do with history, loved to read and enjoyed completing the newspapers daily crossword puzzles. He never ceased to increase his knowledge.

Tim will be sadly missed by his wife, Carolyn Ann McLaughlin of Ingram daughter Kelli McLaughlin of Kerrville son Kyle McLaughlin of Houston stepdaughter Andrea Markham of Kerrville grandchildren, Gavin quotGooberquot Romine, Casey, Brooke and Brittany, Lummus and Samantha Dunn, Eric Wilson, Lyssa Markham ,Olivia McLaughlin and Colby Metcalf brother Mike McLaughlin and his wife Christa, of Georgetown sister, Patti Schultz and husband Randy of Burton and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Kerrville Funeral Home Main Chapel on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 11AM with Rev John Petty, officiating.
