Gene was a patient good natured and non- judgmental man who never complained with pain until it became so severe. Well, now my love, God will never let you know pain again. This is a comfort to your family.
He was an Army veteran, who fiercely respected all who served their country. He will be honored by the veterans at a memorial service to be held at a later date. He will also be honored with a fly over by a family friend in a World War II, 1945 P51 Mustang named ''Pecos Bill'' at the memorial celebrating his life at a later date at The Coming King Sculptured Prayer Garden.
We wish to extend appreciation for all the doctors, nurses, aids with Home Instead Senior Care, all with Alamo Hospice who cared for Gene during his final days. Also the prayers at home and from all across Texas. May God bless all of you.
In lieu of flowers, Gene's wish would be to make a contribution to the fly over pilot and also to the nonprofit, Coming King Prayer Garden. There will be contribution boxes provided at the Memorial Service.
