Kerrville ndash Thomas W. Bibb, JR, 88, passed from this life at a local hospital on Friday evening, July 11, 2008.Born in Aberdeen, WA on December 3, 1919, he was the son of Thomas W. Bibb SR and Mabelle Dunbar Bibb.nbsp He grew up in Albany, OR and later received a BS in geology at the University of Washington in 1941.During WWII, he inspected B17rsquos and B29rsquos at Boeing.Following the war, Mr. Bibb pursued a geologic career with Texaco, BritishAmerican Oil and Adobe Oil for a period of 25 years on the West Coast, the Rockies and Alaska.nbspIn a word, he loved the outdoors, fishing and hiking.Upon his retirement from oil exploration, he and Olga, his wife, owned and operated 5 different motels in Texas, Colorado and Washington State.Tom was a 32nd Degree Mason, a Shriner, a member of the Hill Country Shriner Club and the Hill Country Geoscientist.nbsp He also held a Texas Real Estate Brokerrsquos license, and more recently, invested in real estate loans.He is predeceased by his parents, a sister, Martha, a daughter, Janine and a grandson, Mark Weaver.Family members include his loving wife of 54 years, Olga Pleskovsky Bibb of Ingram a daughter and sonin law, Beverly and Scott Morris a daughter, Bonnie Middleton a daughter and soninlaw, Jacqueline and Larry Darnell a son and daughterinlaw, Thomas W. Bibb III and Kathy Bibb granddaughters, Devra Bell and husband, Michael, Marie Danagher and husband, Michaelnbsp grandsons Kurt Middleton, Michael Middleton and wife, Rebecca, Michel Newcomb, Zach Bibb and his wife Meredith, Colin Bibb and Drew Bibb.nbsp He was additionally blessed with 8 great grandchildren and 1 greatgreat grandchild.There is no visitation.A memorial celebration of his life will be held at Kerrville Funeral Home, on Monday, July 14, 2008 at 10:30AM
