Thomas Anderson

Thomas Joseph Anderson, 72, of Comfort, passed away Monday, October 10, 2011 at Peterson Regional Medical Center in Kerrville.

Mr. Anderson was born April 28, 19 in Amboy, IL, the son of Roy and Irene Fitzsimmons Anderson. He married Gail Watson in 1985 at Georgetown, TX.

He graduated from the University of Houston and then went to the University of Kansas City, MI and graduated with a pharmaceutical degree. He worked at Peterson Regional Medical Center as a pharmacist for several years before retiring. In his spare time, he loved woodworking and antique restoration.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his wife, Gail of Comfort one son, Douglas Troy Anderson and his wife, Nikki of Glasgow, KY, four daughters, Kelly Suzanne Taylor and her husband, Dean of Davenport, Iowa, Kelly Ann Dix and her husband, Larry of Copperas Cove, TX, Brenda Gipson of Copperas Cove, TX, Audrey Beth Winkler and her husband, Robert of Hondo, TX twelve grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren.

A Rosary will be recited 6 p.m. Friday, October 14, 2011 at the Kerrville Funeral Home Chapel, 1221 Junction Highway, Kerrville, TX with
visitation to follow from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated 9 a.m. Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Notre Dame Catholic Church in Kerrville, TX with Father Alberto Colin officiating.

The family suggests that a memorial in the his name to The American Cancer Society, 8115 Datapoint Drive, San Antonio, TX 78229 or a charity of choice.
