Terry Wineriter

Kerrville Terry James Wineriter, 66, of Kerrville, passed from this life on February 19, 2011 at a local hospital.

Born on April 18, 1944 in Salt Lake City, UT, he was the son of Florien James Wineriter and Barbara Jean Cook.

He was a graduate of Granger High School, Class of 1962. On June 15, 1963, he married Charlotte M. Benion.

He had an illustrious career in the music business promoting recordings of stellar stars for several recording companies. When the record companies had a financial down turn he retired and moved to Kerrville, worked in the local broadcasting industry, changed his career goals, attended the Schreiner University in Kerrville, received his LPN degree and was a nurse at Kerrville State Hospital for several years.

He is predeceased by his mother, Barbara Jean Cook Collett, and a sister, Sandra Collett.


He is survived by his father, his daughter Sherri Lynn Wineriter, and three grandsons, Nicholas, Canon, and Parker, all of San Antonio younger sister, Susan Yates and a younger brother, John both of St.George, UT, a sister Christine Collett Kenner, Logan, UT, a brother Charles Collett, Layton, UT.

Services for Mr. Wineriter will be held at a later date.
