KERRVILLE - Sylvia Garza Centeno, 60, of Kerrville, TX passed from this life on December 7, 2015 at a local hospital in Kerrville, TX. Sylvia was born October 10, 1955 to Jesus and Marcella Garza.

Sylvia was born and raised in Kerrville, TX. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother who never closed her door to anyone. Sylvia loved for her family and friends to come over and visit. She was a considered by many to be a hardworking and strong women. In her spare time she loved listening to her music, watching Family Feud, playing with her dogs, Pookie and Paco and watching her birds.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Marcella Garza; sisters, Esther Trevino and Ernestina Rosas; brothers, Jesse Garza, Reynaldo Garza, Carlos Garza, and Roberto Garza.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory include her son, Eric Centeno and wife Tasha of Kerrville; daughter, Sonia Constante and husband Ernest of Kerrville; grandchildren, Cybrin Centeno, Kevin Centeno, Corbin Centeno, Ernest J. Constante and Gabriela Constante; sisters, Henrietta Ruiz and husband Reynaldo of Kerrville, Eva G. Rodriguez and husband James of Kerrville, Eliza Hernandez and husband Joe of Kerrville, Estella Calderon and husband Eloy of Kerrville, Olga Dominguez and husband Ruben, Emma Rosas and husband Ruby of Kerrville, Rosalinda Torres and husband Rudy of Kerrville, Esmeralda Garza of Ft. Worth; brothers, Romiro Garza and wife Rafela of Kerrville, Albert Garza and wife Griselda of Kerrville,

A recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 6 PM on Friday December 11, 2015 at Kerrville Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Kerrville Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery, Kerrville, Texas. Pall Bearers for the service include, Ruben Dominquez, Zac Torres, Ernest Constante, Chris Garza, Cybrin Centeno, Kevin Centeno, James Rodriguez and Ernest J. Constante.

The family would like to thank Olga Dominguez, Estella Calderon, Rosalinda Torres, Esmeralda Garza and Esper Monroe who took care of Sylvia on a daily basis.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the charity of one's choice.
