Shirley Stork

Kerrville Shirley Clara Moore Stork, 70, of Kerrville passed into the arms of her Lord June 6th 2011.

Born on January 30th 1941 in Holden, Maine, she was the daughterto Irvin P. Moore Beulah E. Hurd Moore.

Shirleys story, however, is not the sum total of these stats. Her inspiring life is the result of a long journey of faith. Motivated by the example of her foster parents Albrey Elenor Dunfee she searched out Gods love, found it and shared it with friends, family, fellow believers and strangers alike. Shirley will be remembered for her beautiful smile, strong spirit and unending love for all those God placed in her path. All who knew Shirley have been blessed by her example of Gods love and grace.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her husband Chuck Stork of 54 years, sons Joe, Mike, Gary and Scott, 12 grandchildren, 12 greatgrand children, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, her step mother Margrite Moore and countless other loved ones.

The viewing will be Monday, June 13, from 5:008:00pm, at Kerrville Funeral Home. Services will be held Tuesday, June 14, at 10:00am at Kerrville Church of Christ. Burial will follow at 2:30pm at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio.

In lieu of flowers, Shirley has asked that donations be made to the Fix It Angels. The Fix It Angels is a ministry of the Kerrville Church of Christ. These individuals commit their time to do home repairs for those who are unable to do this maintenance themselves.
