Shirley Edge

Kerrville Shirley Grace Edge, 72, of Kerrville, Texas passed from this life on Thursday, January 5, 2006 at a local hospital. Mrs. Edge was born on December 28, 1933 in Hallettsville, TX to Wylie and Mary Jansky. She was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church.Mrs. Edge is survived by her husband of 54 years, Eldon D. Edge, Sr. of Kerrville, TX four sons, Eldon D. Edge, Jr., and wife Susan, Darrell Edge and wife Virginia, Dana Edge, and Duwayne Edge and wife Delma grandchildren, Ingrid Edge Petty and husband Jason, Rachael Edge, James Edge, and Trista Martinez. A host of loving friends and neighbors also survive her.A recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 7 PM, Sunday, January 8, 2006 at the Kerrville Funeral Home Chapel, 1221 Junction Highway, Kerrville, Texas 78028. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 AM, Monday, January 9, 2006 at Notre Dame Catholic Church with Msgr. Mike Boulette serving as celebrant. Interment will follow at the Edge Family Cemetery in Kendalia, TX at 1 PM.In lieu of floral arrangements, the family suggests considering donations to the charitable cause of your choice.Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Kerrville Funeral Home.
