Sherri Rice

Sherri Lee Hadley Rice, 53, of Kerrville, TX passed away January 30, 2004 at a local hospital. She was born November 29, 1950 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She married James B. Rice in Laredo, TX, and in the year 2000 they moved to Kerrville from Port Aransas. She was the president of the local quilting guild, and enjoyed sewing, and arts and crafts. She spent a lot of time working at her computer, tracing family roots, and maintaining a Hadley genealogy website and their hotel business website. She was a member of two RV clubs, and was the secretary for the Cactus Campers. Etiquette was one of her passions and she enjoyed teaching Etiquette classes to young people. She recently received her Psychology degree from Texas AM Corpus Christi. She attended Trinity Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, James B. Rice, a son, Trey Benjamen Richter Rice of Houston three step sons, Todd B. Rice of Laredo, Marc B. Rice of San Antonio, and Eric B. Rice of Jacksonville, FL one step daughter, Dawn K. Simmons of Laredo, her mother, Ann Ash, her stepfather, Dick Ash and nine grandchildren.
