Shelby Bedea

Shelby Dale Bedea, age 11, of Kerrville, Texas passed away on April 29, 2007 at her residence.Shelby was born on November 22, 1995 in Fredericksburg, Texas. She attended Tom Daniels Elementary School in Kerrville. She participated annually in Special Olympics where she competed in the wheel chair race. It was very to make her laugh and she was always happy. She brought joy and smiles to everyone and all who knew her will miss her dearly.In life we often meet someone who has a profound effect on us as a person. Seldom found is one person who has that effect on every life they have touched. Shelby was that person. Though she constantly had to deal with disabilities in her daily life she always had a smile, a giggle, and the warm grip of a soft hand. She in her own innocent caring way took each of us into her world and made us better people. While in her presence, our troubles were forgotten, our hearts and minds opened to the sweet innocence of a kind heart. For this we owe you an unrepayable debt and will always keep you in our hearts and minds. She is survived by her mother, Gina Gayle Bedea sister, Hailey Lane Bedea, maternal grandmother, Gaylon Galvin of Mason paternal grandparents, Carolyn Bedea of Nebraska and Don Bedea of Kuwait aunts and uncles, Steve and Rosanne Bedea of Nebraska, Toby Patterson of Missouri, and Vance Lehmberg of Mason great aunt and uncle, Joyce and Juan McGowan family of Mason cousins, Justin and Aaron Bedea and Kendra and Jacoby Patterson Godparents, Keith Harmon and Sandy Mosel numerous other relatives and friends.ation will be held 68:00 p.m, Friday, May 4, 2007 at Kerrville Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held 1:00 p.m, Saturday, May 5, 2007 at Christian Community Church with Pastor David Dodge officiating. Pallbearers will be Michael Holcomb, Cody Holmes, Randall Sanders, Joe Miller, Joe Bobbitt, and Dale Mathews.A memorial fund in Shelbys name is available at Kerr County Federal Credit Union, located at Super S Food Store or 3700 Memorial Blvd.Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Kerrville Funeral Home.
