Kerrville Sharon Louise Cordes , 66, of Kerrville, TX, passed from this life after a brief illness at a local care facility, on Friday July 26, 2013. Sharon was born on July 30, 1946 to Harold C. and Mildred Cordes in Houston, TX. She graduated from Clear Creek High School and San Jacinto Junior College in that City. Her entire career was spent working for NASA and received many commendations for her work over her years there. ON her retiremen to Kerrville, Sharon attended both St. Peters Episcopal Church and The First United Methodist Church and volunteered in several ministries. She further shared her giving heart as a volunteer at The Raphael Free Clinic which was her passion.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents Harold and Mildred Cordes

Those left to cherish and honor her memory are her brother B.J. Cordes, of Houston, TX, aunt and uncle Roy and Betty Cordes, and several nephews.


A Celebration of Life,will be 2:00 PM, on Friday August 9, 2013 at St Peters Episcopal Church. Inurnment will be at the Shrine of St. Therese in Juneau, Ak.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Raphael Community Free Clinic, P.O. Box 291729, Kerrville, TX 78028
