Selma Custer

KERRVILLE Selma Iline Custer, 74, of Kerrville, TX passed from this life at a local hospital on August 22, 2013. She was born October 29, 1938 to Xavier and Margie Auldridge Croteau.

Selma was born and raised in South Texas, and was married to Wilbur Lee Custer on December 31, 1956 in Roswell, NM.

Selma is preceded in death by her parents sister, Virginia Egnew, and brother, Dalan Croteau.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her loving husband of 56 years, Wilbur Lee Custer daughter, Brenda K. Rhodes and spouse Jeff son, Ronald L. Custer and spouse Diane daughter, K. Annette Hammons and spouse Deryl daughter, Debbie Hoyl and spouse Brandon sisters, Edna, Wilma, and Yvonne and her brother Elmer Croteau. She is also survived by 9 grand children and 8 great grandchildren along with a host of many loving friends and neighbors who will greatly miss her.

She has a strong faith in our Lord, Jesus Christ. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She never knew a stranger and will be missed by all who knew her

Funeral Services will be held at Sunrise Baptist Church, 1200 Broadway, Kerrville, TX 78028 at 10 AM, August 26, 2013. Interment will follow at Center Point Cemetery, Center Point, TX.
