Sarah Gradillas

San Antonio Our beloved Sarah Jane Gradillas, 61, of Kerrville, passed from this life and went to be with our heavenly Father on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at a San Antonio hospital. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, She was preceded in death by her parents, Augustine and Bertha Moreno and a grandson Emilo Venzor.She is survived by her husband Carlos of 34 years. Also surviving her are a daughter, Stephanie Simpson, a son, Rene Gradillas, a daughter, Erica Gradillas Venzor, and 9 grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Tom, Bill, Ruben, David and Augustine Moreno her sisters, Delores Rosas, Laura Smith, Lydia Barela and Virginia Lopez and a host of many loving friends and neighbors.Sarah was born in Upland, California, January 11, 1946. A licensed LVN for 34 years, Sarah worked at the Veterans Medical Center in Kerrville, Texas. Sarah was a kind and generous person and she will be dearly missed.The recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held Thursday, December 20, 2007, 7 PM in the Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate her life will be held Friday, December 21, 2007,1:30 PM at Notre Dame Catholic Church.Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Kerrville Funeral Home.
