Ingram, Texas nbspSadie E. Green, 97, of Ingram, Texas passed away peacefully on September 12, 2008 at her residence.nbspSadie was born December 5, 1910 in Guilford County, North Carolina to Allen and Lula Suits Winslow. She had many occupations throughout her life including owning and operating Greens Nursing Home in Asheboro, North Carolina. She liked to stay at home, but made a point to study her Bible, watch church on television, and crotchet. In High Point, she enjoyed Oak Hill Church, a Quaker Church, and made it a point to tithe regularly even though distance kept her from attending. She was very close to her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren they were the highlight of her life. She loved them and all of her family dearly. She will be missed by all.nbspShe was preceded in death by her husband, Paul T. Green, her daughter Kaye Blackburn on May 25, 2001 and her son, Larry Green on September 1, 2008.nbspShe is survived by her soninlaw, John Blackburn and wife Ann of Ingram, Texas grandchildren, Mary Jennifer Blackburn of Tulsa, Oklahoma, John Blackburn, Jr. of Port Richey, FL, Richard Blackburn and wife Donna of Kerrville, and Meghan Blackburn of Austin great grandchildren, Johnny, Lauren, Jacob, and Noah Blackburn and various other relatives in North Carolina.nbspFuneral services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at the Kerrville Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Chancellor officiating.
