Ruth Roy

Ruth Marion Passino Roy, 88, of Kerrville, Texas passed from this life on November 18, 2013 at a local hospital.

Ruth was born January 3, 1925 to Fred and Josephine Passino in Saranac Lake, New York where she was raised and educated. Ruth and her husband of 38 years, Edward Roy, lived for many years in Valatie, New York. Their retirement years were spent traveling to visit family and friends around the country. They called Boerne, Texas, home for the past 22 years. Ruth was a parishioner at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church and an avid volunteer at the Benedictine Ministries. Ruth affectionately called MomaToot by her family will always be remembered as an amazing cook and animal lover, especially of dogs. She loved her family immensely, and she will be missed and cherished by all.

Ruth is preceded in death by her husband Edward Roy parents Fred and Josephine Passino and her brother, Fredrick Passino.

Survivors include her daughter, Gail Anderson of Comfort, TX grandchildren, Kelly Dix and husband Larry, Copperas Cove, TX Brenda Gipson, Copperas Cove, TX and Audrey Winkler and husband Robert of Hondo, TX 8 greatgrandchildren and 11 greatgreatgrandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
