Ruth Green

Ruth Elizabeth Green, age 79, of Kerrville passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2002 at a local hospital. She was born April 29, 1923 to Peter and Leta Claudon in Lexington, IL. Ruth was a loving mother and wife. She enjoyed traveling with her family in their travel trailer all around the nation. After their retirement, she and her husband continued their travels trailering around the country with friends as well as traveling to Europe. Ruth was active in their travel clubs and was State Treasurer for the Holiday Rambler Travel Club. She enjoyed playing cards but most of all, she enjoyed cross stitching. Ruth and her husband Howard lived in Corpus Christi for 30 years before retiring to Kerrville.Mrs. Green was a devoted member of St. Peters Episcopal Church were she served as bookkeeper for the Cottage Shop.Ruth is survived by her husband Howard Green of Kerrville, son Commander Richard Green, Ret. and wife Mary Beth of Fredericksburg, VA, daughter Deb and husband Kelby Boultinghouse of Corpus Christi, TX grandchildren Peter Green, Rebekah Douglas, Kyle Boultinghouse, Kelby J. Boultinghouse sister Carolyn Barling and husband Kenneth of Bloomington, IL brother Glen Claudon of Lexington, IL special friend Veronica Arreola as well as many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
