Kerrville-Graveside Services for Ruth Pursley Beyers, 92 of Kerrville, Texas who passed from this life in Kerrville, Texas on Tuesday, December 23, 2014, were held 1:00 PM on Friday December 26, 2014 at Zephyr Cemetery in Zephyr, Texas.

Ruth was born on April 26, 1922 in Sylvester, Texas to Leonard and Anne Pursley. She was married to William "Dub" Beyers on April 11, 1948 in Roby. She was a member of Zephyr United Methodist Church.

Ruth is survived by a daughter, Lee Ann Allen and husband John of Kerrville; a son, William A. Beyers III and wife, Debbie of Gainsville, Florida; a daughter, Noretta B. Lovell and husband Toby of Pearland; two grandsons, Scott Allen of Kerrvile and Matthew Beyers of San Diego, California; a granddaughter, Brittney Lovell of Pearland, great-grandchildren, Cash Allen of Kerville, Jackson Beyers of San Diego, California and Wyatt Beyers of San Diego, California; and brother Cadmus A. Pursley of Andrews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Ruth's memory to MD Anderson Hospital in Houston.
