Ruby McElroy

KERRVILLE Ruby Jo McElroy, 71, of Kerrville TX, passed from this life on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at a local care facility. Ruby was born July 5, 1940 in Denton, TX, to Earnest and Mollie Marie Morris Fuqua. Before moving to Kerrville, she was a resident of Comfort, TX, along with her husband, Eugene McElroy for many years.

Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene McElroy parents, Earnest Fuqua and Mollie Marie Brown brothers, Danny Mack and Johnny Fuqua.

She is survived by her daughter, Kendyl Coan and her sons, Shayne and Gary Crosby sister, Mary Quepha McDowell and husband Freddy brothers, Earnest E. Fuqua and Kenneth M. Fuqua and wife Carol she is also survived by her grandchildren, Natasha, Danielle and Victoria Thompson, Bailey, Nathan, Hannah and Bradley Crosby greatgrandchildren, Sheila, Brianna and Cadence Tomlin, and Tatianna Lee, along with a host of many other relatives, friends and neighbors.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, May 21, 2012 at 10 AM with Chaplain Sam Ligon officiating. ation will be held from 9 AM until service time at Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Hwy, Kerrville, TX 78028. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, TX.
