Ruby Maples

Ruby Lee Maples, 89, of Ingram, TX died Monday, November 17, 2003 at a local hospital. Mrs. Mapels was born September 21, 1914 in Clay, Louisiana to Marion and Jennie Henley. She lived in the Hill Country for 70 years. She was a homemaker, and a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed quiet time at home and reading her Bible.She is preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Remmers Fred Maples whom she married on June 24, 1954 in Kerrville, TX four brothers, Winfred Henley, Fred Henley, Elmer Henley, and Walter Henley.She is survived by two sons, Robert Remmers and wife Irene of Fredericksburg, and Larry Maples of Ingram daughter, Pat Maples of Ingram two stepsons, Fred Maples, Jr. and wife Gail of New Mexico, and Virgil Maples and wife Pearl of Buda, TX 4 grandchildren, 12 greatgrandchildren, 6 greatgreat grandchildren, 9 stepgrandchildren, and 14 stepgreatgrandchildren.
