Austin Rosiabeth Stephen Curcuruto, 86, of Austin, TX passed from this life on Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at her home. She was born in Tulia, TX to Robert A. and Sena B. Stephen on July 15, 1921.Mrs. Curcuruto married the love of her life, John J. Curcuruto on September 14, 1942 and was married for 58 years before he passed away on January 2, 2001 in Austin, TX. They resided in Pecos, TX for 45 years before moving to Mountain Home, TX in 1986, where they made their home for 14 years. She has resided in Austin, TX for the last 712 years with her son and daughterinlaw, John Robert and Carol A. Curcuruto. She was active in church her entire life, being members of churches in Pecos, Kerrville, and Austin, most recently as a member of Southwest Christian Church, Austin, TX.Preceding her in death are her parents and husband a twin sister, Elizabeth Dyer of Pecos, TX, and sister, Bobbie Layton of Odessa, TX.Surviving Rosiabeth are her loving children. Sons, John Robert Curcuruto of Austin, TX, and Karol Gene Curcuruto of Pilot Point, TX her daughter, Rose Marie Taquino of San Antonio, TX one sister, Sena Ray Brownlee of Pecos, TX twelve grandchildren, eighteen greatgrandchildren and a host of many loving friends, neighbors, and her church family.Open visitation will be held prior to services. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2007 at 10 AM in the Mission Funeral HomeSerenity Chapel, 6204 South First Street, Austin, TX 78745 with Pastor Phil Landrum officiating. Graveside Services will follow on Saturday, December 8, 2007 at 4 PM in Sunset Cemetery, Mountain Home, Texas, with Pastor Clark Ford officiating. In lieu of floral arrangements, the family requests memorials be made in Rosiabeths name to Southwest Christian Church, 10205 Brodie Lane, Austin, TX 78748.Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Kerrville Funeral Home with the assistance of Mission Funeral Home Serentiy Chapel, Austin, TX.
