Ronald Schmidt, Sr.

Ronald Louis Schmidt, Sr., 52, of Harper, TX entered into rest October 30, 2004 at his residence. Mr. Schmidt was born December 24, 1951 in Houston, TX. He attended CyFair High School and graduated in 1970. He served his country in the US Army from November 17, 1971 to August 14, 1973. In 1995 he moved to Harper, TX and married Linda Sowles on April 8, 2002. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, building, and working the ranch.He is survived by his wife Linda Schmidt, son, Ronald Schmidt, Jr. of Hollywood, FL daughter, Shelley Dobbs of Kerrville stepsons, Shawn Garman of Grand Junction, MI, and Cory Garman and wife Michelle of Paw Paw, MI 5 grandchildren, Shelby Schmidt, Adrain Dobbs, Tyler Dobbs, Quinn Garman, and Sydney Garman brother, Donald Schmidt and sisterinlaw, Tedda Moritz both of Magnolia, TX sisters, Carolyn Easter, Joyce Murski and husband Sonny, and Lynda Abke and husband Charlie motherinlaw and fatherinlaw, Walter and Lorraine Sowles of Mountain Home brotherinlaw and sisterinlaw, Don and Pat Adair of Harper friend, Hollis Walker of Harper, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be 1:00PM, Thursday, November 4, 2004 at Memorial Oaks Cemetery Chapel in Houston, TX with interment following services. Memorials may be made to Vistacare Hospice, 1001 Water St. suite B100, Kerrville, TX 78028.
