Rodney Murkin

Kerrville TX Mr. Rodney W. Murkin, 52, of Kerrville, Texas passed from this life on Thursday, October 4, 2012 from injuries sustained in a single vehicle accident in Kerrville, Texas.

Rodney was born January 29, 1960 in Decatur, Illinois to Leroy and Shirley Murkin. He was a talented drywall finisher and practiced his trade for many years. Rodney and his wife were the proprietors of a drywall company in Houston prior to relocating to the hill country.

The family wishes for the Kerrville community to know Rodney was a decent man, a fun and loving husband and father. Rodney fought a long fight with alcohol addiction and this illness ultimately took his life.

Rodney is survived by his wife, Janisse Brinkley children, Cody and Meghan Murkin parents, Leroy and Shirley Murkin a brother and two sisters.
