Valderaz, Sr., USAF Ret. passed from this life on February 27, 2009. nbspBorn in Comfort on December 28, 1934, he was the son of Simon and Felicia Enriguez Valderaz.nbspRobert retired as a First Sergeant in the United States Air Force at Randolph AFB in 1976, after 22 years of service to his country.nbsp He served 15 years of his career as a Generalrsquos aide.nbsp His decorations include two meritorious medals, three commendation medals along with numerous other medals of recognition.nbspHe was proceded in death by his wife, Patsy A. Valderaz a son, Robert Robby Valderaz III his father, Simon Valderaz and a sister, Christina.nbspThose left to honor and cherish his memory are his sons, Robert Valderaz Jr, and wife Denise, and John Valderaz daughters, Anita Packen, Christina Bolin, Felicia Valderaz, Julie Coskrey and husband Tommy, and Lori Finch and husband Robert soninlaw, Wayne Packen 20 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren 2 brothers, Valentine and Ruben and 4 sisters, Clarita, Olivia, Carmen and Gloria, along with a host of many loving friends and neighbors who will forever miss him.nbspRecitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Highway on Wednesday evening, March 4, 2009 at 7 PM.nbspA celebration of Life will be held Thursday, March 5, 2009 at 10 AM in the Main Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home.nbsp Interment will follow at Garden of Memories in Kerrville, Texas.nbspPallbearers will be SSgt Charles Tilton II, Stephen Tilton, Jordan Valderaz, Stephen Packen, Tommy Coskrey, John Donahoe and Greg Kidd.nbsp Serving as Honorary PallBearer is Wayne Packen.nbspnbsp
