Robert Neutze, Sr.

Kerrville Robert Neutze, Sr., 79, of Kerrville, Texas passed from this life on Sunday afternoon, November 25, 2007 at a local care center after a lengthy illness. Born on October 8, 1928 in Atascosa County, he was the son of John L. and Maggie Voght Neutze.He was with Margie Neutze for 30 years. For over 50 years, he was a distributor for Foremost Oak Farms Dairy where many people knew him and counted on him to deliver the goods that were needed. He also served in the United States Navy during WWII.Mr. Neutze was an avid reader of the Readers Digest, never missing a new edition. He was a fisherman, a hunter, and loved to tinker with just about anything that he could find that would fit in his garage to occupy his time. Moving to Kerrville in 1966, he loved the Texas Hill Country and all it had to offer. He was of the Methodist faith.Loving his children and other family members without boundries, he was forever doing things that meant the world to them. Whether it be bringing in a load of firewood, or some task that they never seemed to have time to do, he was always the one to pick up on the fact that it was needed. Preceding him in death are his parents one sister, Elizabeth Black and two brothers, Jimmy Neutze and Frankie Neutze.Surviving him are his wife Margie Neutze of Kerrville, TX 7 children that he and their mother, Ellen Neutze raised, Donna Rasmus of Snyder, TX, Linda Linker of Kerrville, TX, Robert Neutze, Jr. of Fredericksburg, TX, John Neutze, Sr. of Houston, TX, Mike Neutze of Kerrville, TX, Tammy Neutze of El Paso, TX, Shannon Neutze of Kerrville, TX two stepchildren, Glenn Putnam of Priddy, TX and James Putnam of Kerrville, TX he was blessed with 25 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren three brothers, Pete Neutze and Gus Neutze, both of Uvalde, TX, and Sonny Neutze of San Antonio, TX one sister, G.G. Brookbank, along with a host of many loving friends and neighbors. Family ation will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 from 6 8 PM at Kerrville Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, Nevember 29, 2007 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home with Pastor Del Way officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Kerrville, TX.Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Kerrville Funeral Home.
