Robert Myers

Robert E. Eddie Myers, 86, of Bandera passed on to be with the Lord on Friday, August 16, 2002 in a San Antonio hospital. He was born in Heavenor, Oklahoma to Roy P. and Della M. Myers on November 9, 1915.As a letter carrier with the United States Postal Service, Mr. Myers was known and loved by many in the community. Mr. Myers was a member of the Motley Hills Baptist Church in Kerrville. He served in the U.S. Army being discharged at Camp Bowie, Texas at the rank of Sergeant.Mr. Myers married Helen Maxine Youngblood in Kerrville, Texas on March 22, 1942.He was preceded in death by a son, Richard R. Myers and his parents, Roy P. Myers and Della M. Terry Myers.Mr. Myers is survived by his wife, Helen Myers of Bandera.Services will be held at the Kerrville Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, August 19, 2002 at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at Nichols Cemetery following the service. Family visitation will be held Sunday, 6 to 8 PM at the Funeral Home.Arrangements are under the direction of Kerrville Funeral Home.
